Plot

In this episode Echo has to take on two engagements. At the beginning she helps a little girl into the world as a midwife; shortly afterwards she is sent out as the stripper “Taffy”, who is handled a little roughly by her client. But it turns out that this was only her own trap to get into the hotel’s administration office.

Her real job is to steal works of art kept in the hotel’s basement, which she and three accomplices (among them an art expert) break into with explosives. Of course not everything goes to plan: the art expert disappears with a valuable piece and locks the other three thieves in the vault. “Taffy” tries to call Boyd, but feedback on the phone damages her imprint, and she is suddenly back in her Dollhouse state, completely disoriented and frightened. There are 30 minutes left before the hotel alarm goes off and security comes down to the basement.

Meanwhile Topher makes it clear in the Dollhouse that Echo is in great danger, because the wiping of her imprint has traumatised her. The heads of the Dollhouse decide to create another “Taffy”: Sierra. She is to break into the vault and rescue the other three before security does and makes short work of them.

Over the phone “Taffy”-Sierra instructs “Taffy”-Echo how to get out of the basement. But that does not go quite as planned either…

After his shoot-out with the Mafia, Agent Ballard is released from hospital and is met at home by his informant. Lubov asks the agent for protection because he is on an organisation’s hit list. Ballard agrees on the condition that Lubov never contacts him again. However, he has not been entirely honest with his informant.
