Summary
After a wild night on the town, Cordelia wakes up to find that she is at least six months pregnant. When it is found out that it is a demon that Cordelia is carrying can Angel and Wesley find a way to prevent the immanent birth from killing her?
Plot
Cordelia’s been seeing a hot young LA photographer named Wilson Christopher. She and her friends meet Wilson and his buddies at a local hotspot. Wilson is very attentive, considerate and charming. He escorts Cordy home and she invites him in to spend the night. She wakes up the next morning to discover that she’s eight and a half months pregnant.
Angel becomes concerned when Cordelia doesn’t show up for work and isn’t answering her phone. He and Wesley break down her apartment door and discover her unusual condition. She gives Angel all the information she has on Wilson and he goes off to find answers. Wesley escorts Cordelia to an obstetrician for a prenatal exam. Wesley looks over the doctor’s shoulder as a sonogram is performed on Cordelia, and is clearly horrified by what he sees. The doctor takes a sample of Cordy’s amniotic fluid and it eats through the glass syringe and onto the floor.
Angel’s investigation leads to Cordy’s friend, Serena, who introduced her to Wilson. He discovers that Serena is in the same family way. She does give him an idea, however, on where to find the young men. Angel goes to a gun club that Wilson and his buddies frequent, and there’s an ensuing battle to get information. Meanwhile, Wesley researches and discovers that a Haxil Beast is the demon father. Cordelia turns on Wesley and knocks him unconscious to protect “her babies”.
Cordelia and the other mothers all end up a warehouse together. They are being called to the father by a psychic umbilical cord he has with the babies. Wesley surmises that if they can kill the father, it will sever that tie and the mothers won’t be harmed. He rushes to the warehouse and tries to convince Cordy to leave with him. The extremely large Haxil Beast is about to attack Wesley when Angel appears, tossing a canister of Liquid Nitrogen at the beast. Wesley pulls a gun and shoots holes in the container, freezing the beast like an ice sculpture. The spell is broken and the women are all released from their mystical pregnancies. Cordelia hits the frozen beast with a heavy pulley and smashes it into a million pieces.
Dialogue

You look nice.

Aagh! Oh, and now, I look like the Joker.

Sorry.

Hopefully, I'm still too young and carefree for a heart attack. Would it kill you to hum a little tune when slipping up on people?

I don't hum.

Maybe we could be a little less young and carefree with the filing?

Okay, so, why is Mrs. Benson filed under 'F'?

Because she's from France. Remember what a pain she was?

Yeah, made me want to drink a lot.

Well, that's the French for you.

Hello! I was just in the neighborhood, patrolling with my new Bavarian Fighting Ax, when I suddenly thought, "Perhaps Cordelia's had a vision. Perhaps you need my help in the battle against evil.

We seem to be evil-free at the moment.

I also packed along a Word Puzzle 3-D, if either of you has the nerve to take me on.

Gee, Wesley, I'd love to, but unlike you, I'm not in my 80s quite yet.

If shaking your booty at the latest trendy hot spot is your idea of a life, then call me...sick with envy.

So, you've been seeing someone. How come I didn't know?

Because I'm ashamed of you -- not to mention how you'd embarrass me by giving him the third degree.
Your boss can give me the third degree anytime.

So, that client I'm supposed to be meeting tonight, what's he like again?

Like a big baby, hatching from a big egg, with really large hands in need of a manicure.

That's right. Termites lay their eggs anywhere, such as next door. And we fight termites -- wherever they may roam.

That was bracing.

Yeah. Baby just hatched. Wouldn't want to run into him when he grows up and gets his driver's license.

Maybe we should clean up. Do you think a Tarval demon leaves a hefty security deposit?

Nobody's more fond of Cordelia than I, but if she wants to go gad-abouting with those doxies . . .

I think they liked you.

Really? I didn't mean doxy in a sexually promiscuous sense, exactly. You don't think sticking the ax in the wall put them off?

That was charming.

What about the fact they thought we were gay?

Adds mystery.

Um, you don't have to--
Call you?

Go home? I mean right away. It's still early . . . . in Australia.

Alright, Dennis. Knock it off. This is the one guy I've actually liked in a long time. And if you keep killing the mood, I'll kill you! Alright, empty threat -- you being a ghost and already dead. But I'll do something worse! I'll play Evita around the clock -- the one with Madonna!

Angel.

It's all right. We're here.

I'm ready to wake up now. I don't seem to be waking up.

What would I say to him? "I had a really great time. I think you left something at my place?

You're not alone.

That's sort of the problem, isn't it?
I didn't see you.

I get that a lot.
So, you're the boyfriend?

No. I'm family.
You're, what, 8 1/2 months along?

Feels like only yesterday, doesn't it?

I don't think I've ever realized just how disgusting that was.
This is a private club. Featured word: Private.

You don't talk to me, I'll kick your ass. Featured word: Ass.

I really hate it when people shoot me.

We can end this without harming the women. Oh. just one tiny problem.

What's that?

Well, I don't want to use the words "impossible to kill," but . . . fire won't kill it. Decapitation won't. It's really huge.
Who are you?

Wesley Wyndham-Price, Rogue Demon Hunter. And I'm here to fight you, sir, to the death -- preferably yours.

As a point of courtesy, I like to get to know my opponents before I engage them in mortal combat. Do, uh, do you have any hobbies?

Sorry I'm late to the baby shower. Brought a little gift.

I really hate dating.

If you need more time, Angel can manage. I've been helping out a little, and...someone forgot to close the filter again.

Of course, if you're ready to come back...

I learned something, too. I learned, um, men are evil? Oh, wait. I knew that. I learned that LA is full of self-serving phonies. Nope. Had that one down, too. Sex is bad?

We all knew that.

Okay, I learned that I have two people I trust absolutely with my life. And that part's new.
